The beginning, it started with the famous singer Bessie Smith in 1929 aged 35. This is when she created the first ever music video to help promote her song and album; this itself changed the music industry and started the ground breaking music videos industry that we see today.  This launched her career even more in comparison with other artist of her time and made her known.  This tactic is still used with upcoming artist through YouTube, for example Justin Biebers who was an unknown artist who produced a few music clips and now is a worldwide hit.
